There are tons of different liners available out there. All of them have different properties and price tags. Butyl rubber liners have been the preferred liners for many years, as they are flexible, strong and long lasting.However Butyl does come at a price.
I found an excellent liner on Ebay which is incredibly strong and tear resistant. It isn't as flexible as the rubber liners, but if you can cope with that, this liner makes a beautiful pond at an amazing price
